Your event is special. Your ideal guest should be able to attend your one-of-a-kind event, even if they have children.
I plan a creative, meaningful and inspiring creative drama program at your venue for children. The children will be engaged in creative play. Common sightings at my workshops include:

dressing up as characters they created

dreaming up creatures
-
using cardboard to build boats, houses, and creatures

using their life experience and knowledge to solve problems

joyfully engaging with other children

solving group problems in new ways

creating maps and building new worlds
The adults at your event are going to have an amazing time, lets give the children an amazing experience too!
When a out-of-town guest comes to your event, they have few choices. They can leave their child with a hotel babysitter or they can bring their child to me. What’s the difference?
My Qualifications
I have a M.Ed in Humane Education and a B.A in drama in education.
I have current first aid training/CPR and clear criminal record, clear child abuse check. So do all the people I employ.
I have over 14 years experience creating and facilitating creative children’s workshops. I have run programs at Prairie Theatre Exchange School, co-ran the education department and designed the popular birthday pARTies at The Winnipeg Art Gallery and have taught in schools, community centres, hospitals and even a boat house.
Special Themes
My speciality is creative drama — which is unscripted, child-led play. Often when children create characters, stories, worlds some bigger issues emerge. My training as a humane educator ensures that every idea is treated with respect, openness and the intention of challenging and inspiring the child.
If your event is related to human rights, animal protection, the environment or culture we live in — I offer age appropriate programs on these specific topics.
Pricing
Basic workshops for up to 8 children (ages 5+) for 3 hours start at $650 and include two professional workshop leaders, including Mrs. Twigg.
